Mike Visceglia
played all the bass on my last record and has been a rock-steady anchor
in my live band for the past two years. And he was a huge part of the way
the arrangements on the four songs we did at Mission Sound evolved and
came together. He's always taken time to try and understand where I'm coming
from on stuff and often helps translate my ideas to the rest of the guys
(he's a master of that musician-cat lingo!). On top of being one of the
great session bassists in New York City, he's a strong facilitator, a professional
and a team player in every sense. For that reason, he's a great presence
to have in the studio -- always very supportive of me and what I need to
feel comfortable.
