Lee Feldman
is a tremendous singer and songwriter in his own right. That's how I first
came to know him -- through his stunning debut record, "Living It All Wrong."
I enjoyed his work so much that I invited him to make a guest appearance
on my record, "Candy & Dirt." From there, he gradually became a dear
friend and an official member of my live band. In addition to his many
other musical talents, as a sideman, he has a real gift for coming up with
beautiful pop hooks! Two wonderful examples are the respective piano parts
you hear on "Heaven Help Us" and "Mixed-up Girl." Not only are they great
parts unto themselves, but they each become essential building blocks for
the entire arrangement.
