Roger Moutenot
rocks! Working with him, there was so much that didn't have
to be questioned, explained, or worried about. Through the great, but frankly
somewhat harrowing journey we undertook when he produced my first record,
"Mascara Falls" (we fought quite a bit!) we arrived at an understanding
and a way of working that would rely a great deal on trust. You could say he has a remarkably good concept of what my work is about. Furthermore,
in making "Real," he had the wisdom, judgement, ears and experience to create the perfect
atmosphere for me to really rise to the occasion. Summed up like that,
it sounds so simple ... In a way it is, but then again, not at all!
